About me

For my whole childhood growing up in rural Suffolk, there were always dogs in my house. I’m so happy my mum passed on her obsession with dogs down to me.

First we had Amy, a golden Labrador, who was around when I was still in nappies. Next came Archie, a rescue golden retriever and William, a rescue border collie. My last family dog came in the form of a very energetic lurcher mix rescue called Bentley.

After completing university in London, the doggy absence was too much to bear. Along came Archie II, a Staffordshire Terrier mix that we rescued from Battersea Dogs home. We then moved to Amsterdam and soon after got a chocolate Labrador puppy called Gus. A happy family, evenly matched between four legs and two! Kind of...

Little did I know that my passion for dogs would also take over my work life too, when I decided to move away from writing and become a qualified dog trainer through the Dog Training College. This decision was easy, not only because of my love for dogs, but also after seeing the influx of puppies during the pandemic. I saw a lot of people struggling with their new pets and it really made me want to learn how to help.

Alongside my dog training study, I’ve worked with training mentors over the last year which introduced me to clients with dogs of all shapes and sizes!

My mission is to provide my expertise and enthusiasm to help owners build solid and enjoyable relationships with their dogs, no matter the breed. As an ongoing education, I make sure to keep up to date with all the best practices in positive reinforcement dog training.

I’m here to provide you with tailored, one-to-one and group sessions that focus on building trust and understanding between dog and owner. Confidence is the key to unlock that life-long bond.
